Prince Reza Pahlavi's Nowruz Message: A Call for National Solidarity in the Shadow of Crisis and Decisive Battle

In a message to Iranians, Reza Pahlavi considered Nowruz a symbol of the return of life and the beginning of a new season and national solidarity for Iran.

As Nowruz and the beginning of the solar new year approached, Reza Pahlavi, in a message addressed to the people of Iran, while honoring the memory of the fallen, emphasized continuing the path of national solidarity and striving for a free future.

This message was released at a time when Iran is going through one of its most tense periods; a period that has been accompanied by internal unrest, political pressures, and security concerns, and has left many families mourning the loss of their loved ones.

In this message, Nowruz is described not only as an ancient ritual, but also as a symbol of the "return of life" and "victory after darkness," a concept that has taken on a deeper meaning in the context of recent developments.

Prince Pahlavi also referred to what he called a "patriotic war" and called on the Iranian people to continue on the path to a different future by maintaining unity and loyalty to the ideals of those who died.

In his message to the Iranian people, Prince Reza Pahlavi said:

"In the name of Iran,

In the name of the immortal homeland,

This year, we honor Nowruz with the glorious memory and names of the bravest and most aware children of Iran; children who were full of light, love, and hope, and whose religion was the praise of life; those who sacrificed their precious lives for the homeland so that in the heart of darkness, they would be the eternal seeds of the prosperity of a free Iran.

Nowruz, the ancient heritage of our land, is a symbol and reminder of this truth: after the hardest and longest winters, life will return victoriously.

"On the threshold of a new and bright chapter in the history of our land, with strength, empathy, love, and loyalty to the proud children of Iran, we will be the trustees of their hope and path. In the heart of Nowruz, firmly and steadfastly together, we will bring life back to Iran."

He also continued his speech by adding: "Today, we are starting our new year in the midst of a patriotic battle with the Islamic Republic and in memory of all the brave and immortal sons of Iran."

The past year was a year of organizing for the final action; a year of glory of national solidarity, unparalleled courage, and great sacrifices; a year that brought us one big step closer to final victory; a year that showed that the Iranian nation's determination to build a free and prosperous future is stronger than ever.

In the past year, Zahhak Zamaneh was killed and his guards have not yet been able to bury him. In the year ahead, together we will bury this Zahhak regime forever.

Our Iran lost tens of thousands of its best children in the battle against this tyrannical regime last year. We salute their pure souls, stand with their families, and pledge with those brave souls and with each other to make the New Year the year of victory for the Revolution of the Lion and the Sun of Iran.

In these opening moments of the year, we brighten our hearts, strengthen our unity, and move forward with firmer steps toward a free and prosperous Iran.

"May your Nowruz be victorious."

The message comes as Nowruz this year brings sadness, worry, and hope for change for many Iranians. The message emphasizes "national solidarity" and "continuing the path of the martyrs," a topic that has become a hot topic of discussion among parts of Iranian society in recent months.

Also, the use of symbolic concepts such as "Nowruz" as a sign of passing through darkness and reaching light indicates an effort to link Iran's cultural heritage with today's political and social developments.

As many Iranian families begin the New Year mourning the loss of their loved ones, messages like this attempt to create a meaningful bridge between grief and hope, a bridge in which remembrance of the past is intertwined with a vision for the future.

Nowruz, as emphasized in this message, is not just the beginning of a new year; it is also a reminder of the deep belief that after every winter, spring is on the way.
