The gathering of the 13th of Badr and the departure of residents from Tehran were banned.

In a television interview, Deputy Traffic Police Chief Naja announced the imposition of traffic restrictions in the cities of Tehran and Karaj, saying that based on the Ministry of Health's announcement, these two cities have been placed in an orange status.
According to Timur Hosseini, starting Tuesday, April 10, non-local vehicles will be prohibited from entering Tehran and Karaj and local vehicles will be prohibited from leaving these cities, and disregarding these restrictions will result in a fine of 500,000 tomans.
He also asked travelers in Tehran and Karaj to leave these cities today.
Iranian government officials have so far only "advised" citizens to observe health protocols and refrain from traveling, and reports indicate a significant increase in travel to various regions of the country during the Corona period.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, news broke that the Sizdah Badr gathering had also been banned in Tehran province.
Hamid Reza Goodarzi, head of the Security Committee of the Corona Management Headquarters, has called on municipalities and the police to take the necessary measures to ensure that people spend Nature Day at home.
On Wednesday, April 1, Iranian media reported, citing Sima Lari, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, that 10,330 new coronavirus patients had been identified in Iran, of which 1,288 were hospitalized.
According to Ms. Lari, with 96 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the total number of deaths from the coronavirus in Iran has reached 62,665. She said that the total number of coronavirus patients in Iran has reached 1,885,564.
During the Nowruz holiday, intercity travel and gatherings caused the number of infected people to reach triple digits once again, and the number of cities in red or orange status has increased.
According to the latest announcement by the National Coronavirus Task Force on Saturday, April 27, in recent days, the status of 23 cities has turned red and 44 cities have turned orange, and travel "from" and "to" these 67 cities in the country has been banned.
According to the Corona Headquarters' definition, in a red or "very high-risk" situation, at least 10 people out of every 100,000 people in a city have been hospitalized due to coronavirus, and in an orange or "high-risk" situation, at least six people out of every 100,000 people in a city have been hospitalized due to coronavirus.
Iranian Ministry of Health officials believe Nowruz travel and reduced adherence to health protocols are the main reasons for the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the country.
On Sunday, April 29, Iraj Harirchi, Deputy General of the Iranian Ministry of Health, pointed out that 23 million and 500 thousand people are currently in cities with red and orange coronavirus status, and said that travelers who are in these cities have 72 hours to leave these cities.
