Israel Katz: We will make sure that Naim Qassem joins Nasrallah's path soon

In response to Naim Qassem's words, Israel Katz said: "We will make sure that he joins Nasrallah's path soon."
Naim Qassem, the newly appointed Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, claimed in his first speech as the group's new leader that he would continue the path of Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, who was killed by Israel, without any reduction or reduction.
Naim Qassem announced in a speech on Wednesday, October 30, that the militia group is fighting for Lebanon and is not fighting on behalf of anyone. According to his statements in the speech, the Iranian government supports Hezbollah's program without any expectations and has no demands from the group.
His claim comes at a time when Hezbollah in Lebanon is the main proxy arm of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has received extensive financial and arms support from the Islamic Republic of Iran government in recent decades. According to published reports, Naeem Qassem left Beirut for Damascus on an Iranian plane two weeks ago, along with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who had gone to Lebanon, and from there traveled to Tehran, where he is currently residing.
Naim Qassem took over the leadership of the group after the killing of Hassan Nasrallah by Israel last month, which is reported to have prompted him to travel to Iran following the escalation of Israeli attacks on Hezbollah. If the reports of Naim Qassem's presence in Iran are true, it could add new dimensions to the tension and conflict between Israel and the Islamic Republic.
In response to Naim Qassem's speech and claim about following in the footsteps of Hassan Nasrallah yesterday, Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz posted a post on the X social network and wrote: "We will make sure that he will soon follow in the footsteps of Nasrallah." It seems that the Israeli Foreign Minister's words are a threat to kill him, just as Hassan Nasrallah was killed in the Israeli attack on his hideout in Beirut.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant also reacted to the appointment of Naim Qassem as the new Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah by posting a post on the X social network, writing: "The term of office of this successor to Nasrallah is also temporary and will not be long."
