Our silence is not the silence of slavery, it is fire under the ashes.

The people of Zahedan declared yesterday, on Quds Day, that our silence is not the silence of slavery, that our people are like fire under ashes.
Sistan and Baluchestan is one of the provinces that has seen the most oppression so far, and the protests that began after the killing of Gina (Mahsa) Amini forced Zahedan to protest as well. Zahedan was bombarded by the Islamic Republic regime on a Friday and later remembered as "Bloody Friday."
The people of Zahedan continue to protest against the regime every Friday after Friday prayers, despite the security situation and the presence of regime forces. On the previous day, Quds Day, people took to the streets holding placards with protest slogans, one of which was written in Persian and English: "Our silence is not the silence of slavery, our people are like fire under ashes."
Abdul Hamid Ismail Zahi, known as Mawlawi Abdul Hamid, the Sunni Friday imam of the Mecca Grand Mosque in the city of Zahedan, also said in his speech after the congregational prayer, which coincided with Quds Day: "No one should think about killing and imprisoning others, beating and destroying others, but the whole world should think about peace." He also announced regarding the election of heads of state and rulers that you should appoint your head of state and ruler yourself.
He also reacted to the recent executions by the Islamic Republic regime, saying: "I can boldly say that those who carry out these executions will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment."
Protests continue in various ways, not only in Zahedan but also in all cities of Iran, until the people's revolution that has begun achieves victory.
