Mojtaba Nurbakhsh Banned from Teaching

Mojtaba Nurbakhsh, a physical education instructor and former sports broadcaster for Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), has been banned from teaching at the university.
Mojtaba Nurbakhsh, a broadcaster and reporter for IRIB’s sports programs, was banned from work last year due to his participation with protesting people. He also announced via a message on his Instagram page that he had been prohibited from continuing his activities with IRIB.
Mojtaba Nurbakhsh completed his university education at Tehran University Central Campus and subsequently began teaching at the same university; however, he has now received a letter of teaching prohibition issued by the acting deputy for academic affairs.
After receiving this letter, he shared the document on his Twitter page and wrote: “I am very grateful to the great minds in sports science who invited me, the smallest among them, to teach at the university where I myself studied. It seems it was not meant for me to continue serving Tehran University Central Campus, its professors, colleagues, and students, and I am grateful to the competent authorities who are carefully monitoring to ensure I do not work anywhere.”

The Islamic Republic system is banning its opponents one after another from work or teaching. By taking such action, the system will eventually remove all Iranian people from work, since the majority of people oppose it, and will only bring in unqualified individuals who support the system—of which very few remain—while forgetting that victory lies with the majority of the people.
