How Can You Trust a Quran That Is Nothing but Lies

A user with documentation stated how you can trust a Quran that is entirely false.

The Quran is the holy book of Muslims in the Islamic religion, which according to their belief is the words of the one God that were revealed as divine inspiration to Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam. Muslims consider the Quran to be Muhammad’s greatest miracle.

From a historical perspective, there are varying opinions, some of which believe that the Quran was compiled during the Umayyad period, while others argue that the gradual formation and completion of the Quran occurred during the time of Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan and Hajjaj ibn Yusuf.

Given recent events in Iran and the oppression perpetrated by the Islamic Republic government according to Quranic orders against the Iranian people, many people have lost their religious and Quranic beliefs and are searching for the truth. During this time, we have witnessed the burning and tearing of the Quran by people in various cities and countries.

Now a user has published a video on virtual platforms that, referring to the Quran and other sources, states that the Quran is not only not a heavenly book, but is nothing but a lie that you have trusted.

In this video, he says: “Muslim compatriot who considers this book sacred and place it on your head, have you ever read the last page of the Quran to understand what is written? On the last page of the Quran, it is written that for the sake of the accuracy of the transcription, it was reviewed and corrected in accordance with the reading of Asim according to the narration of Hafs under the supervision of the printing and publication oversight.”

It should be noted that “Hafs ibn Sulaiman ibn al-Mughira” was a hadith scholar who, according to the statements of the author of “Mu’jam al-Udaba”, was a narrator of “Asim ibn Abi al-Najud”.

The aforementioned user, referring to the book “Sharh al-Urwah al-Wuthqa” in volume 14, page 439, says: “According to Imam Khui’s narration, some of these transmitters were known for transgression and lying, and the person ‘Hafs’ who was known for lying is the narrator of the Quran. This is also mentioned in the Sunni books ‘Tahdhib al-Tahdhib’ and ‘Mizan al-I’tidal’.”

Referring to the aforementioned sources, he questions his compatriots how they can trust and consider sacred a book that has come to you from a transgressor and liar?

But the question is: how can a book whose formation and final completion, according to historical beliefs, was carried out by various narrators during the Umayyad period and under Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, and these were narrators who are mentioned in Sunni books as transgressors and liars, be considered a heavenly book revealed to Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam?

The video published by the aforementioned user and his reference to the sources can be viewed below.
