Thousands of tons of food sent from Iran and Türkiye to Qatar

Iran and Turkey have rushed to help Qatar. Qatar, which has been isolated by Arab countries for some time, receives 1,100 tons of food daily from Iran and 4,000 tons from Turkey.
The Director General of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Bushehr Province announced on Thursday, June 22, that due to the special position of the ports of Bushehr Province in trade with the Persian Gulf countries, 1,100 tons of food are exported to Qatar from these ports daily.
It has been two weeks since a number of Arab countries, led by Saudi Arabia, severed ties with Qatar. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates severed diplomatic ties with Qatar on June 5 and closed their transport and trade routes with the country.
A short time later, several other Arab countries joined this approach against Qatar.
Relations were severed after the Emir of Qatar, in a speech, called Iran a great power and a guarantor of stability in the region and considered Hamas to be the representative of the Palestinians. Although it was later said that these statements were fake and that Qatari news sources had been manipulated, Qatar's general positions on regional affairs show that these statements are not far from the Emir of Qatar's views.
Saudi Arabia and its allies have accused Qatar of supporting “terrorist groups” such as Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas in the Palestinian territories. Qatar has also been accused of not taking a tough stance on Iran. Kuwait and other Arab countries have tried to mediate in the crisis, but have so far failed.
