Protest by participants in the medical, dental, and pharmacy assistant exams against the quota for warriors

News agencies in Iran reported a protest rally by participants of the medical, dental, and pharmacy residency exams in front of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and other cities, including Ahvaz, Isfahan, Yazd, Rasht, and Mashhad.
According to ISNA News Agency, based on the new year's practice for assistantship exams and specialty courses, it has been decided that the 25% surplus quota for the families of martyrs will henceforth be allocated to the families of warriors and will no longer be available to free volunteers.
Protesters against the new quotas at a rally on Sunday, June 3rd, wrote on their placards: "We are also children of this land."
One of the participants in the rally in front of Tehran University of Medical Sciences announced that in the future, other rallies will be held by protesters with a five percent quota for families of veterans and veterans under 25 percent.
