30 Percent of Iranian Students Lack Access to Virtual Education Facilities

While the Minister of Education stated that 30 percent of students in Iran lack access to virtual education facilities, an official from the ministry announced that students will attend virtual classes starting from April 6.
The head of the Planning and Information Technology Center of the Ministry of Education announced that students will participate in virtual classes on the “Shad” network after the Nowruz holidays.
Mehdi Sharafi said that so far, approximately 90,000 schools have access to this network.
On Sunday, Mohsen Haji Mirzaei, the Minister of Education, also stated that 30 percent of educational regions and schools lack communication access to establish virtual education.
Iranian schools are closed until April 20, and a decision on their continuation after this date will be made.
