Government Forces Shot and Killed “Nader Naroui” Before His Mother’s Eyes

Government forces shot Nader Naroui twice with live ammunition before his mother’s eyes, killing him.

Since the beginning of the popular revolutionary uprising, many mothers have witnessed firsthand the killing of their children by government forces. Mothers who, after seven months have passed, see another young person killed, and the grief of their loved ones becomes fresh for them again.

Nader Naroui, a 30-year-old Baloch youth living in the village of “Kahk” in Zahedan county, was also killed on Thursday, the 10th of Farvardin, when he protested the entry of officers into his home without a court warrant. Security forces shot him twice with live ammunition in front of his mother’s eyes.

The internet disruption in Zahedan caused by the Islamic Republic regime has prevented media coverage of this government crime. The killing of Nader Naroui is only one of the crimes committed by Islamic Republic government agents every week in Zahedan. In fear of more crimes being exposed in the media, the regime has cut off people’s access to outside the city and even the country, imposing sanctions on them. Yet the regime remains oblivious to the fact that the Iranian people bypass every sanction to expose the regime’s crimes.

Can a government that resorts to live ammunition in the face of its people’s protests and takes their lives so easily be equally accountable for the blood that has been shed?
