Ebrahim Raisi said on Sunday, May 8: "The government considers itself obligated to provide peace to society by taking appropriate measures to regulate and monitor the market, as well as to untie the knots in people's lives . "

Ebrahim Raisi has called the recent price increases "unreasonable," while Abdolnaser Hemmati, former head of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic, said on Sunday that one of the most important reasons for the recent inflation and price increases is "excessive printing of money."

He added: "The 13th government printed 142 trillion tomans in the 1400 solar year, earning the title of "Supreme Sultan of Money Printing."

With the increase in the price of bread and pasta in Iran, even conservatives and those who supported Ebrahim Raisi's government on social media have turned to criticizing the 13th government.

In his remarks on Sunday, the Iranian President emphasized that the government will pay sums of money as subsistence allowances until the electronic bill of lading is introduced to maintain market stability and ensure people's livelihoods .

Simultaneously with the rapid increase in the prices of various goods and food in Iran, the increase in the price of bread and its rationing in recent days has caused a wave of concern among citizens.
