Nationwide protests; two citizens arrested in Sanandaj

HRANA News Agency – During the nationwide protests, two citizens were arrested in Sanandaj and taken to an unknown location.
According to HRANA news agency, citing Kurdpa, on Wednesday, September 20, 1402, Paria Mortezaei, a citizen living in Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces.
Also, on Monday, September 19, Mohammad Kazemi, 60, son of Amin, was arrested by security forces in Sanandaj.
These citizens were arrested during the protests in September 1401.
So far, there is no information about the whereabouts of these citizens or the charges brought against them.
The Shahrivar protests of 1401 (Shahrivar 1402) refer to a series of nationwide protests that began on 16th of September following the death of a 22-year-old girl named Mahsa (Zina) Amini as a result of the actions of the moral security police patrol in Tehran, and spread to at least 85 cities and 18 universities in 29 provinces of the country by 1st of Mehr 1401 (Mehr 1402). These protests, which are still ongoing, have so far led to the arrest of hundreds of people and the killing and injury of dozens of protesters, including children.
Media outlets close to security agencies published forced confessions from a number of detainees, accusing the defendants of committing violence. The Iranian government also disrupted the internet nationwide, both at home and on mobile phones.
