Statement of the Assyrian Chaldean Churches of Tehran regarding the Kerman disaster

The Assyrian Chaldean churches of Tehran issued a statement regarding the deadly Kerman tragedy.

"Grigor Chiefchian", the Archbishop of All Armenians of Azerbaijan, referred to the Kerman incident as "Bloody Wednesday" and issued a statement condemning the tragedy.

The text of the statement of the Assyrian Chaldean Churches of Tehran, issued on Thursday, January 5, is as follows:

"Global arrogance and terrorist Zionism committed a heinous crime that hurts the heart of every honorable and conscious person. While the heroic people of Kerman gathered at the grave of the commander of hearts, Hajj Qassem Soleimani, on the anniversary of his martyrdom, in his unforgettable memory, more than a hundred people were martyred and more than two hundred were injured. This tragedy is another black spot in history, the shame of which will forever haunt the evil terrorists."

"We, the clergy of the Assyrian-Chaldean Christian churches of Tehran, while condemning this inhumane act and expressing our sympathy for the families of the precious martyrs and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured in this heartbreaking incident, express our condolences to the Supreme Leader and all statesmen, officials, officials, and the entire noble nation of Iran, and emphasize that we always stand by our dear compatriots."

The above statement has been signed by the bishops of the "Assyrian Church of the East of Iran", the "Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church of Tehran", and the "Assyrian Evangelical Church of Tehran".
