Preventing "Georg Aslan" from sending Christmas greetings by "Bekir Bozdag"

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Bekir Bozdag prevented Georg Aslan from sending Christmas greetings.
According to KurdPress, Mardin MP Georg Aslan from the Peoples' Democracy and Equality Party dedicated part of his speech in parliament to Christmas greetings in Syriac, but his microphone was cut off by Bekir Bozdag, the deputy speaker of parliament from the Justice and Development Party.
After finishing his speech, Georg thanked Bekir Bozdag, but other members of parliament informed him that his voice had been cut off while speaking in Syriac, which upset him.
He strongly criticized Bekir Bozdag in response to his action, saying: "When they were reading verses from the Holy Quran in parliament yesterday, the system was not interrupted, because they consider it a sacred language. But the language I speak is the language of Jesus Christ, and this language is also sacred."
The deputy speaker's microphone cut-off drew widespread criticism from members of the Peoples' Democracy and Equality Party and other religious minorities in the Turkish parliament, who called the act an example of discrimination against non-Turkish minorities, languages, and ethnicities.
