Another proof of Iranian officials' lies about the Ukrainian plane; the control tower was during the missile launch

While it has been more than three weeks since the downing of the Ukrainian passenger plane in the skies over Tehran by the Revolutionary Guard, a new audio file has been released of a conversation between the control tower and one of the pilots of a flight that was on the same flight as Flight 752. The file shows that Iranian officials, contrary to their claims, were aware of the missile launch from the very beginning.
According to a video published by a Ukrainian news agency and later reposted on social media, the pilot of Flight 3768 can be heard talking to the tower about preparing to land at the airport.
In his conversation, the pilot says that "a series of lights like missiles" are seen, although he does not know the exact location, but he says that he thinks it is around the Payam area of Karaj.
After this conversation, the control tower sends a message to the Tehran-Kyiv flight nine times in a row, but no response is received from the Tehran-Kyiv flight PS 752. In the following file, the pilot of the flight whose conversation was published reports an "explosion" and says that they saw "a very large light."
The release of this conversation file comes at a time when officials from the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, the government, and President Hassan Rouhani himself had announced that they were unaware of the missile launch and only learned of the incident a few days later.
The missile fired at the Ukrainian plane with 176 passengers on board was fired by the IRGC on January 8. The Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces admitted to firing the missile in a statement on January 11, three days after the tragedy.
However, not only have the perpetrators not been brought to justice to this day, but even before the release of this audio file, government spokesman Ali Rabiei had said that "none of the government officials, including the president himself, were aware of the main cause of the plane crash, which was unintentional self-defense fire, until Friday evening."
But after the release of this audio file, Hassan Rezaeifar, the director general of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization, also called the document "confidential" and said that "this action by the Ukrainians caused us to no longer provide them with any documents."
These statements come at a time when, to this day, Iranian authorities have refused to hand over the black boxes of the downed plane to Ukraine and Canada.
Previously, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expressed hope for Iran's cooperation in investigating the aspects of the Ukrainian Airlines plane crash in Tehran, calling for the investigation to reach a conclusion as soon as possible.
"We need to get a full investigation into this plane very quickly and thoroughly," Mr. Pompeo said. "I've seen the reports. All I can say is that we need to get to the bottom of it very quickly."
