Three political prisoners beaten and tied to bars for a day

Three political prisoners were beaten in the Greater Tehran Prison, and one of them was tied to bars for a day.
Yesterday, Thursday, June 24, "Meysam Dehbanzadeh, Reza Norouzi, and Majid Roshannejad," three political prisoners who are imprisoned in Brigade 5 of Greater Tehran Prison, were beaten by prison officials. The beating occurred following a disagreement over the principle of segregation of crimes in Brigade 5 of Greater Tehran Prison and a conflict between prisoners in this ward.
According to Irfan Karamveisi, the lawyer defending the three prisoners, Mr. Dehbanzadeh, Norouzi, and Roshannejad were beaten with batons by six prison guards. During the beating, Meysam Dehbanzadeh suffered a head injury and despite the injuries, the medical staff did not bandage his head and only gave him one ibuprofen tablet.
His defense lawyer also added: "After this incident, Meysam Dehbanzadeh was transferred to Ward 3 of this prison and was handcuffed to a bar until noon today, Friday, June 25."
