Murder of young protester Javad Roohi in Nowshahr prison

Javad Roohi, a protester arrested during nationwide protests, was murdered in Nowshahr Prison.
Javad Roohi, a 35-year-old man who was arrested during the nationwide protests, was arrested by regime forces on September 20, 1402, and spent 11 months in temporary detention and uncertainty. He was sentenced to death three times by the judiciary, and his sentence was dramatically overturned by the Supreme Court after media pressure and the efforts of human rights activists.
According to Avatoday news sources, Javad Roohi was murdered in Nowshahr Prison and the prison authorities intend to portray this crime as “suicide by drug poisoning.” In order to divert public attention, the authorities have once again resorted to their own bogus scenario of suicide and intend to cover up their crime.
To prevent crowds from gathering in front of the prison, prison officials have refused to announce the news of Javad Roohi's death and have even canceled all visits for the day.
As the anniversary of the revolution approaches, the crimes of the Islamic Republic government are resurgent, punishing and murdering detainees, lawyers, civil activists, and more, one after another.
