Judicial prosecution of an administrator accused of encouraging dancing on a tourist tour

An Instagram admin was prosecuted for encouraging dancing on a tourist tour.
The Kerman Provincial Court announced legal action against an Instagram admin whose actions were deemed "violating norms."
According to reports published by the Kerman Provincial Justice Information Center on Tuesday, November 29, an Instagram admin was prosecuted for advertising on his Instagram page and encouraging dancing on a tourist tour, which is considered to be illegal advertising under the law.
According to the Kerman Court of Justice, this admin, through his activity on the social network Instagram, encourages audiences to "drink alcohol" and "mixed dance" on a tourist tour.
Majid Danesh, the deputy head of cyberspace at the Kerman Prosecutor's Office, while referring to these advertisements as vulgar, said: "People who, without regard to the moral values and legal principles of tourism, seek vulgarity in cyberspace and in real life and in the form of implementing these tours, will be dealt with legally."
Activities or advertisements that are considered "non-conformist" under Islamic Republic law and the advertiser is also considered a criminal offense are not considered a crime in terms of human rights in many countries; however, the actions of judicial authorities in these cases represent a violation of freedom of expression and the right to choose one's lifestyle.
