4,020 Iranians died from suicide last year/ Which age group has the highest suicide rate in Iran?

ILNA wrote: The head of the country's social emergency department, pointing out that according to World Health Organization statistics, the number of suicides leading to death in Iran in 2015 was 4,020, said: "Those aged 15 to 25 have the highest number of suicides leading to death in the country."
Regarding the World Health Organization's report on suicide, Hossein Asadbeigi stated that according to this report, Iran ranks 108th in the suicide rate, and said: "According to this report, the number of suicides that resulted in death in Iran during 2013 and 2014 was 4,069 people, and in 2015, it was 4,020."
He continued: "In 2012, the suicide rate among men was 7 per 100,000, with a total of 2,700 men committing suicide, while the rate among women was 3.6 per 100,000, or 1,369."
Referring to America's 39th rank in terms of suicides, Asadbeigi said: "In 2012, 43,000 people committed suicide in America. Also, in India, with a population of over 1 billion people, 258,000 people committed suicide in 2012, which according to the WHO report, ranks the country 10th in the world for suicides."
The head of the country's social emergency department stated that the average suicide rate in the world with a population of more than 7 billion people was 14 per 100,000 people, and added: "The countries of South Korea, Guyana, Lithuania, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Japan, Belarus, and India ranked first to tenth in terms of suicides leading to death in 2012, respectively."
He noted that in this report, the Gulf countries have the lowest suicide rate, which is due to inaccurate and low statistics reported by these countries. China is also the only country where the suicide rate for women is higher than for men.
Emphasizing that the western provinces of the country, including Ilam, Kermanshah, Lorestan, and Hamedan, have the highest suicide rates in proportion to their population, the psychologist stated: "Unfortunately, due to the lack of supervision over the distribution of rice tablets, there have been many cases of suicide and death over the past year, which is why its sale by apothecaries needs to be controlled."
Referring to the deaths of 500 people in the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Tehran due to the use of rice pills, Asadbeigi stated: "After rice pills, hanging and poisoning from toxins and drugs are the most common causes of suicide-related deaths, while suicide attempts using sleeping pills and anti-anxiety drugs are less likely to result in death."
The head of the country's social emergency department stated that in Iran, the age group of 15 to 25 years has the highest number of suicides leading to death, and this issue is very rare among people over 50 years old. He added: "In American and European countries, the elderly commit suicide more often than young people."
He called despair one of the most important reasons for youth suicide and said: "Usually, the elderly have experienced the hardships of life and have become more resilient, but adolescents and young people are more likely to commit suicide due to not learning various life skills and their impulsive behavior, as well as due to less resilience and various psychological, social, and economic reasons, which requires more scientific research."
Asadbeigi stated: The country's social emergency provides free assistance to all people who have attempted suicide and to the bereaved families of people who have lost their lives due to suicide in 190 cities, and also provides its psychological and social services through line 123, mobile service vehicles, and crisis intervention centers.
He added: "Our colleagues in the social emergency have also been able to dissuade people who have threatened suicide from doing so through interviews and negotiations, and in some cases, they have hospitalized these people."
