Doctor in Sattar Beheshti case 'sentenced to six months in prison'

The Kaleme website reported that Reza Heydarpour, the doctor who examined Sattar Beheshti upon her arrival in prison, has been sentenced to six months in prison.
Mr. Heydarpour was arrested about three years ago.
This Evin Prison doctor had reported the signs of beatings on Sattar Beheshti's body when he arrived at the prison. After that, Dr. Heydarpour was no longer allowed to examine and treat political prisoners and was transferred to another ward.
Sattar Beheshti was a blogger who was arrested by Iranian police in 2012 and died after being transferred to Evin Prison.
Two years ago, a police officer was tried and sentenced to three years in prison for premeditated murder in this case. While the doctor involved in the case has now been sentenced to prison, the details of his case and the charges have not been made public.
According to Kalameh, Branch 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, headed by Judge Moghiseh, has issued a six-month prison sentence to Bahram Moradi, a physiotherapist at Evin Prison, in addition to the prison sentence for Reza Heydarpour, a physician at Evin Prison.
On the other hand, Kaleme reported that the same branch of the Revolutionary Court, in a separate ruling, sentenced journalist Alireza Darvish to six months in prison.
The website also says that Giti Zolfaghari was sentenced to three years in prison, Mehdi Maleki, a supporter of the Pan-Iranian Party, was sentenced to six months, and Mohammad Ebrahimi was sentenced to one year in prison.
