Shervin Hajipour Released on Bail
Hrana News Agency – On Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Shervin Hajipour, Iranian singer, was released on bail. He was arrested days after the release of the song “Baraye” by security forces and transferred to the detention facility of the Sari Information Office.
According to Hrana News Agency, citing Rokna, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, Shervin Hajipour was released.
Majid Kaveh, the lawyer of Shervin Hajipour, regarding the singer’s release, said: The temporary detention order of Shervin Hajipour was converted to bail.
According to him, the release of Mr. Hajipour was carried out with the cooperation of Adel Alipour, the other lawyer in the case, and with the approval of the prosecutor of Branch 11 of the General and Revolutionary Court of Sari.
Shervin Hajipour, a singer residing in Iran, was arrested days after the release of the song “Baraye” by security forces.
After some time, Shervin Hajipour’s sister, in a post on her page, wrote that on Saturday, September 30, the Information Office of Sari contacted her parents and told them that Shervin was there. Shervin also reported his safety in the Sari Information Office detention facility in a brief phone call.
Meanwhile, Amir Raisyan, a lawyer at the courts, attributed the arrest of Shervin Hajipour to an order from the Sari Prosecutor’s Office.
