Social Activist Hanif Shadlo Arrested by Security Forces in Varamin

Hanif Shadlo, a social activist, was arrested by security forces at his father’s residence in Varamin on Friday morning, October 25, and transferred to an undisclosed location. During the arrest, officers conducted a search of the residence and confiscated some of his personal belongings.
According to Hrana news agency, the news organ of the Iranian human rights activists collective, at 8 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 1399, Hanif Shadlo, a social activist, was arrested by security forces at his father’s residence in Varamin and transferred to an undisclosed location.
During the arrest, officers searched the residence and confiscated some of his personal belongings and those of his family members, including mobile phones and identification documents. It has also been reported that officers beat Mr. Shadlo during the arrest.
Despite the family’s inquiries, the location where Hanif Shadlo is being held remains unknown, which has increased concern for his condition among family members.
