Two Citizens Killed in Indiscriminate Shooting by Police Forces in Dalahou County

On Sunday, the 22nd of Esfand, two citizens from Kamran Rahman village in Dalahou County lost their lives following indiscriminate gunfire by police force officials near the Baba Yad Gar mausoleum.

According to Hrana news agency, citing Kordpa, on Sunday, the 22nd of Esfand 1400, two citizens were killed as a result of gunfire by police officials in Dalahou County.

According to this report, the identities of these citizens, who had a mother-son relationship with each other, have been identified as Pourya Rezaei, 24 years old, and Sohrat Seyadi, residents of “Kamran Rahman” village in Dalahou County, Kermanshah Province.

In this report, citing an informed source, it is stated: Police force officials, without prior warning, in the Melle Saran area near the Baba Yad Gar mausoleum, opened fire on the vehicle of these citizens, and this mother and son, who had gone to visit the Baba Yad Gar mausoleum, were killed.

It is reported that the bodies of these citizens were transferred to a hospital in Sarpol Zahab County.

In a section of the annual human rights situation report in Iran for 2021, attention was given to citizens who were killed or wounded by military bodies.

In 2021, a total of 242 citizens came under fire from military forces, of which 94 citizens lost their lives, a figure that includes the deaths of 23 kolbars, 31 fuel smugglers, and 40 ordinary citizens. 148 citizens were also wounded as a result of indiscriminate fire from military bodies, of which 81 are kolbars, 51 ordinary citizens, and 16 fuel smugglers.
