Protest rallies by telecom retirees continue in various cities

Protests by telecommunications company retirees continue in various cities.

Months have passed since the protest gatherings of retirees from various organizations, and no action has yet been taken to pay their outstanding claims and salaries. To this end, these gatherings continue in various cities.

Today, Monday, July 19, 1402, a large number of retirees of the telecommunications companies of the provinces of Khuzestan, Khorasan Razavi, Kermanshah, Sanandaj, Shiraz, and Tehran, held a protest rally in front of the buildings of the telecommunications companies of the respective provinces.

Holding protest placards, they demanded payment of medical bills, treatment costs, salaries that had been in arrears for several years, etc.

The non-payment of pensioners' arrears comes at a time when more than 9 months have passed since the nationwide protests began and the Islamic Republic regime has spent huge amounts of money to suppress the people. Expenses that are the right of the working people are being spent on purchasing repressive forces and tools of repression.
