Kianoush Cheraghi's hunger strike after being transferred to Darehshahr prison

Kianoush Cheraghi went on a hunger strike after being transferred from Ilam Prison to Darehshahr Prison.
Kianoush Cheraghi, 44, is from Dehloran and a former employee of the Dehloran Social Security Administration. He was arrested by security forces in Dehloran in October 1402. His case was sentenced to one year of imprisonment, including the time he spent in previous detention, by the Second Branch of the Ilam Revolutionary Court in Dehloran, headed by Judge Seyyed Reza Salah al-Dinini, on charges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic.”
He was also sentenced on November 15, 1402, by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court of Dehloran County, presided over by Judge Hossein Panahi, to two years of imprisonment on charges of "spreading lies with the intention of disturbing public opinion through computer systems" and writing 200 pages about 10 people killed in the Iran-Iraq War, with the approval of the Sacred Defense Foundation of Ilam Province.
Kianoush Cheraghi was arrested on April 25 of this year after being summoned to the Dehloran Sentence Enforcement Branch and transferred to Ilam Prison to serve his sentence, and then released on bail. According to published reports, the Sixth Branch of the Ilam Court of Appeals issued a ruling on February 16 of this year to cancel Mr. Cheraghi's electronic monitoring, but the political prisoner described it as illegal and unfair.
Security forces also raided his home and arrested him, and beat him while he was being transferred to Ilam Prison, resulting in injuries to his jaw and knee, and a broken tooth. He went on a hunger strike in prison to protest the cancellation of the electronic monitoring order.
Despite his serious injuries, he was denied medical attention in prison, and even when Kianoush requested medical attention, he was not given any response. Mr. Cheraghi, who had been on a hunger strike, was placed under medical care, but after 9 days due to his poor physical condition, he was transferred to the hospital, and after a favorable promise from prison officials, he ended his hunger strike in the hospital.
Political prisoner Kianoush Cheraghi has now been transferred from Ilam Prison to Dareh Shahr Prison, and he has resumed his hunger strike in protest of this transfer.
