Mossad reports Iran's attempt to kidnap Israeli citizens

Israeli security officials have said that Iran has been using fake accounts to kidnap Israeli citizens. Mossad said the aim of these actions was to lure Israeli citizens abroad and trap them.
The report by Mossad and Shabak (Shin Bet), Israel's intelligence and internal security agency, was released shortly after statements by Islamic Republic officials about Israel's role in the attack on the Natanz nuclear facility.
Agence France-Presse, publishing a report from Jerusalem, wrote that the Islamic Republic has sought to trap and kidnap Israeli citizens by creating fake accounts on Instagram.
The report states that Iranian spies contacted Israeli citizens using fake accounts and tried to lure them out of the country's borders.
Mossad and Shin Bet have stated in their report that Iranian spies in these fake accounts either introduced themselves as women willing to have "romantic" contacts or tried to trap Israeli citizens by using the cover of employment in tourism companies.
Israeli intelligence agencies continued their report by writing that the aim of these actions was to harm Israeli citizens or take them hostage.
It is even said that in one case, these efforts were successful and an Israeli citizen attempted to leave the country to make the visit. However, timely notification to intelligence sources allowed the citizen to return to Israel before it was too late.
The AFP news agency continued its report by writing that this accusation was made by Israeli intelligence agencies just hours after Iran declared Israel responsible for sabotage at its nuclear facilities.
