Central Province: 1,400 Cases of Child Abuse and Spousal Abuse Registered in Forensic Medicine in Year 99
The director general of forensic medicine in Central Province reported 1,400 cases of referrals to forensic medicine in year 99 in the field of child abuse and spousal abuse.
According to a report by Hrana news agency, citing ISNA, the director general of forensic medicine in Central Province stated that the total number of referrals in the field of child abuse and spousal abuse last year was 1,400 cases.
Ali Rezaei, referring to the province’s ranking in various incidents, stated: Central Province ranked first in traffic accidents in year 99 relative to the province’s population, second in child abuse, third in unnatural deaths, and fourth in carbon monoxide poisoning at the national level, 19th in drowning incidents, and fifth in workplace accidents.
