"Be ready" for US forces in Qatar and the UAE during the IRGC drills in the Persian Gulf

Reports were published on Tuesday regarding the readiness and sheltering of American forces in Qatar and the UAE during the IRGC's exercises in the Persian Gulf.

Fox News correspondent Lucas Tomlinson said that during the Iranian military maneuvers and following the landing of three missiles in the waters near the bases hosting American forces in Qatar and the UAE, American forces at these bases were put on alert.

An official also told this Fox News reporter that the landing sites of the missiles were close enough to Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar and Al-Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates to be of concern.

CNN defense correspondent Barbara Starr also says that after intelligence indicated that Iranian missiles were likely heading toward the American bases of Al-Udeid in Qatar and Al-Dhafra in the UAE, these bases were put on alert and personnel went to shelters for a few minutes.

The reporter added, citing American officials, that these measures were precautionary.

According to Iranian media reports, the final phase of the Revolutionary Guards' "Prophet 14" exercise is underway in the general area of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

This exercise is being held in joint cooperation with the Navy and the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In this context, a spokesman for the US Navy's Fifth Fleet called the IRGC's naval exercises in the Persian Gulf an "irresponsible and reckless" action.
