24 Commercial Units Sealed in Rey City

“Etemaad Online” reported the sealing of 24 commercial units during the first three days of Ramadan in Rey city.

According to “Etemaad Online” reports, the police commander of Rey city described the sealing of commercial units as part of implementing a plan to monitor premises during the holy month of Ramadan.

“Mohammad Ghasem Tarhani,” the police commander of Rey county, regarding the sealing of commercial units, stated: “In implementing the approved resolutions aimed at respecting and preserving the sanctity of Ramadan, a plan to inspect and monitor commercial units was placed on the police’s agenda and has been put into execution.”

He added while referring to inspections of 97 commercial units: “In this plan, 24 commercial units were sealed due to disregarding the given warnings, and 73 commercial units were also issued sealing warnings.” The police commander of Rey city, while emphasizing the continuation of implementing plans to enhance public security with a focus on control and monitoring plans for commercial establishments until the end of Ramadan, stated: “Police will firmly deal with those who do not respect the sanctity of this month.”

Many recreational and tourism venues, restaurants, coffee shops, and others are sealed during certain months such as Ramadan, Muharram, and Safar for various reasons including “non-compliance with hijab regulations,” “performing live music,” “serving food,” “celebrations and festivities,” and many other reasons, depriving them of income.
