A Parliament Representative: 231 Million Tomans Were Deposited into My Account in the First Month

Hossein Jalali, representative of Rafsanjan and Anar in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, has stated that 231 million tomans were deposited into his account in the first month of his presence in parliament.

According to IRNA news agency, Mr. Jalali said that of this amount, 11 million tomans relates to representative salary and he received 200 million tomans for housing.

This representative stated that 20 million tomans was also deposited into his account for “other expenses,” but did not provide details about these expenses.

The salary of parliament representatives in 2017 was announced at six million tomans, which over the course of three years increased by 5 million tomans to reach 11 million tomans.
