According to Harana news agency citing ROKNA, on Thursday, September 25, 1400, a client died after being beaten by three managers of an addiction recovery camp.

Based on this report, the 45-year-old man named Saeid, who was a client at an addiction recovery camp in Islamshahr, Tehran, was beaten by three camp managers. Following his deteriorating condition, he was transferred to Fayazabakhsh Hospital and ultimately died after five days.

From a scientific perspective, addicts are individuals who are ill and in need of help, and they should be freed from this illness under the support of society and family. In Iran, addiction recovery centers exist that easily receive licenses, yet there is no proper oversight by relevant agencies over their performance and how they treat these patients.
