Bloody Uprising in Piranshahr and Javanrood

Following widespread protests in recent hours, Piranshahr and Javanrood have witnessed a bloody uprising and the deaths of more young people.

The body of 16-year-old Karavan Qader Shekari, who lost his life yesterday after being shot by security forces, was carried in a massive funeral procession last night due to fears that security forces would confiscate his body. A video that went viral on social media today shows Karavan’s mother kissing his lifeless body. A mother who held dreams for her young son buried him last night.



The Islamic Republic’s security forces have not ceased their killing spree. During the funeral procession of Karavan Qader Shekari, they opened fire on participants in the village of Shinabad in Piranshahr, killing another young man named Heydar Mohali in the process.

Javanrood also came under a hail of bullets from the Islamic Republic’s regime mercenaries. Revolutionary Guard forces attacked the people of Javanrood with machine gun fire, and as a result of these attacks, many people lost their lives.



The people of Javanrood called upon their fellow patriotic citizens from Kermanshah and other cities in the province to rush to their aid.

Jalal Mahmoudzadeh, representative of Mahabad, announced that at least 11 people from his city have been killed by Sunday. He acknowledged that among the dead were people who were not even protesters. Jalal Mahmoudzadeh also confirmed that officers fired on people’s homes and shops, causing extensive damage.

The people of Kurdistan announced that the lives and property of the Islamic Republic regime’s agents and mercenaries will not be safe. The smoldering rage of Iran’s oppressed nation accumulated over forty and several years, particularly in Kurdistan and Baluchestan, will sweep away many lineages.

They also announced that the longer we remain confined to our homes, the more opportunity we give to the Islamic Republic regime’s mercenaries to destroy us. They called on all the people of Iran to take to the streets before it is too late so that in unity they can overthrow the Islamic Republic regime. They also addressed the people of Tehran and its surrounding areas, saying please come to the streets and declare your protests in solidarity and unity with us.
