Bomb Explosion in Basra Leaves Several Dead and Injured

Hospital sources reported the total number of injured at 22 people and the death toll at four.
Baghdad Al-Youm news agency, citing a security source, reported that the bomb was placed in a vehicle.
The explosion occurred near a hospital and has caused damage to at least one car and a minibus.
Reuters, citing eyewitnesses, wrote that the minibus was severely damaged, to the extent that the limbs of some passengers were severed.
Official authorities have attributed this terrorist operation to ISIS. This is while ISIS has not had significant terrorist activities in southern Iraq so far and is mostly active in the northern and western regions of the country.
