Continued Protests by Telecommunications Retirees in Various Provinces
Telecommunications retirees in various provinces have once again taken to protest.
Employees and retirees of the Telecommunications Company have previously protested against non-payment of their salaries and held protest gatherings.
On Monday, the 8th of Khordad, telecommunications retirees in the cities of Urmia, Marivan, Mashhad, Mazandaran, Lorestan, Hormozgan, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, and Ilam held protest gatherings in front of telecommunications buildings in the aforementioned provinces in protest against the failure to address their demands.
The protests by workers and retirees of various organizations against the failure to address their demands come at a time when a portion of Iran’s national wealth is being plundered daily by the Islamic Republic system and its agents, while economic poverty and violation of rights continue to spread throughout the country.
