Deployment of U.S. Army F-15 Fighters in the Middle East

The U.S. Army announced this morning the deployment of its F-15 fighters in the Middle East.

The U.S. Army announced on Saturday morning, October 14 (October 22 in the Persian calendar), that it had sent a number of fighters to the region under the responsibility of U.S. Central Command with the aim of strengthening air operations in the Middle East. U.S. Central Command, while emphasizing the presence of fighters in the Middle East, announced that the mentioned fighters are intended to strengthen American forces and conduct air operations throughout the Middle East region.

The U.S. government also sent an aircraft carrier, warships, and a number of fighters to the eastern Mediterranean Sea last week in order to support Israel.

Lloyd Austin, U.S. Secretary of Defense, also announced that the aircraft carrier “Gerald Ford” along with four cruise missile destroyers carrying cruise missiles and several fighters have been sent to the Middle East. The United States also intends to send more military aid to Israel and announced that by sending this aid, it seeks to prevent Israel’s enemies from taking advantage of the current situation.

According to Israeli statistics, at least 1,300 Israelis have been killed in Hamas’s attack on Israel so far, of which 258 were military personnel. Additionally, 3,200 people were wounded and 120 were taken captive by Hamas forces. In Israeli air strikes on Gaza, approximately 2,000 people, including 614 children, have been killed so far.
