Donald Trump: Iran Could Have Joined the Abraham Accords and Normalized Relations with Israel During My Time

Donald Trump, referring to the Israeli war, said: Iran could have joined the Abraham Accords and normalized relations with Israel during my time.
Former US President Donald Trump stated that if he were president of the United States, Israel would not have been attacked, because Iran had become impoverished during his term and could not give money to Hezbollah. Donald Trump claimed that during his presidency, the world had moved closer to peace, so much so that even Iran could have joined the “Abraham Accords.” He stated that we need peace in the world.
The “Abraham Accords” were announced and signed on August 15, 2020, at the White House with the presence of the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, former US President Donald Trump, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The aforementioned countries were among the first to join this accord.
Before signing the “Abraham Accords,” Egypt and Jordan were pioneers in normalizing relations with Israel in the Arab world, and after the UAE and Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco also normalized their relations with Israel. The United States also hoped that Oman, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia would normalize their relations with Israel by signing the “Abraham Accords,” but the Gaza war delayed this measure.
Donald Trump, while referring to the fact that Israel should end the Gaza war, said: “Do this quickly and return to a world of peace.”
