Esmail Bakhshi’s Family Gathers Again in Front of Shush Court

The family of Esmail Bakhshi, a labor activist, gathered in front of Shush Court in protest of the continued detention of this worker.

In this protest gathering held on Wednesday, the first day of Esfand in front of Shush Court, Esmail Bakhshi’s family, including his daughter, held handwritten notes demanding the release of this imprisoned worker.

In recent days, Esmail Bakhshi’s family had also held gatherings in front of Shush Court, with reports published of altercations with the mother of this labor activist.

Esmail Bakhshi was arrested for the second time on the first of Bahman month by security forces. He had previously stated that he was tortured during his arrest, but officials of the Islamic Republic broadcast his forced confessions and arrested this worker again.

Previously, the U.S. Department of State condemned these actions against protesters and stated that the regime ruling Iran constantly violates people’s rights.
