The Election Headquarters of the Ministry of Interior announced the final results of the Assembly of Experts elections in Tehran. Ahmad Jannati, Secretary of the Guardian Council, ranked sixteenth and Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani placed in the first position.
IRNA, the official news agency of the Islamic Republic, reported on Monday morning (10 Esfand / 29 February) that the Election Headquarters of the Ministry of Interior announced the names of the elected representatives of the fifth term of the Assembly of Experts for Leadership in the provincial electoral district.
These results were obtained from a total of 6,124 polling stations and 4,178,012 counted votes and were announced through the issuance of Statement No. 89 by the country’s Election Headquarters.
