Fire in Tabriz Historic Bazaar Ends with 29 Injured

A fire in “Iki Capılar,” one of the historic and covered bazaar passages of Tabriz, ended with 29 injured and damage to dozens of shops and stalls.
This section of Tabriz’s historic bazaar caught fire on Wednesday evening, May 8.
According to ISNA news agency, citing the head of emergency services at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, the fire resulted in 29 injured and wounded, of which 19 are firefighters.

The same news agency, citing the director of “Tabriz Bazaar World Heritage Site,” reported that the fire caused damage to “approximately one hundred shops.”
