Free Yourself from Religious Captivity by Burning the Prison of the Mind So Our Country Can Be Saved
A courageous woman sent a message to Iranians by saying, “Free yourself from religious captivity by burning the prison of the mind so our country can be saved.”
A video has been circulated on social media in which a zealous woman, by burning religious books, sent a message to the people of Iran. In this video, she says: “I burned everything I had at home – the Quran, Mafatih, Nahj al-Balagha and so on. Because all of them are nothing but nonsense, we must burn them to achieve freedom.”
She also addresses the people saying: “People! Burn whatever filth, pollution, and intellectual prison they have created for us. Free yourselves from the bonds of religious captivity so our country can be saved.” She concludes her remarks by saying “Long live freedom, eternal king.”
Last year, following the killing of Mahsa (Jina) Amini due to the hijab issue, some people tore pages from the Quran that mentioned hijab and burned them as a sign of protest. System officials also announced in this regard that foreign intelligence services, by deceiving the protesting people, are making every effort to disturb social peace and incite people to insult sacred values and burn pages of the Quran and hijab verses under the pretext of this person’s death and with specific ulterior motives.
