According to a report by Harana News Agency, citing the Haft Tappeh Sugarcane Workers’ Syndicate, on Monday, the 18th of Mordad 1400, a number of workers from this company, on the twenty-eighth day of their strike, gathered in front of the governor’s building in the city of Shush.

According to this report, the protesting workers cited their main demands as payment of overdue wages, reinstatement of dismissed colleagues, vaccination of workers, and determination of the company’s status following the announcement of the cancellation of the privatization deal.
