Hamidrezaa Destvane Sentenced to 10 Months Imprisonment

Hamidrezaa Destvane, a Bakhtiari citizen from Dahdashti, has been sentenced to 10 months of punitive imprisonment by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic.

According to reports from human rights organizations, he was arrested by security forces on September 11 of this year and subsequently released on October 8 upon posting bail. According to published reports, he has now been sentenced in absentia to 10 months of punitive imprisonment by the Revolutionary Court of Yasuj, which is located in Branch 103 of Criminal Court 2 of Dahdashti, by “Saeed Taheri-nasab,” the judge of the Revolutionary Court in this county, and this conviction has subsequently been served to him.

The reason for issuing such a verdict against him is the charge of “propaganda activity against the system,” which has been attributed to him by the judicial system.
