Increase in the Rate of Women Addicted to Narcotics

The head of the anti-narcotics police said: The prevalence rate of drug abuse among women is not higher than men, but the percentage of women who fall victim to narcotics has increased.

He also mentioned regarding statistics on drug consumption in Iran’s provinces that in provinces such as Tehran, Razavi Khorasan, Fars, Isfahan, and Alborz, which have major cities, the prevalence rate of drug abuse is higher.
