Man Armed with Cold Weapon Attacks in Netherlands, Leaving One Dead

Dutch police reported the death of one person in an attack by a man wielding a cold weapon.

In recent weeks, an individual in Germany attacked people while wielding a knife and was arrested by German police. This incident prompted the German government to deport a number of refugees.

 Now, police in the city of Rotterdam in the Netherlands have reported an attack on people last night, Thursday, September 19, by a person carrying a knife. As a result of this attack, one person was killed and another was seriously injured.

The attacker was arrested by police. According to a police spokesman, the individual was carrying two knives during the attack on people and attacked them while shouting “Allahu Akbar.”

It should be noted that investigations into the motive and planning of this attack are ongoing by police. Additionally, Dutch police have called on witnesses to report their evidence to security authorities.
