Mayor of Brazjhan Apologizes for Treatment of Municipal Workers

Mohammad Hassan Mohammadi, the mayor of Brazjhan, responded to protests over how the municipal department under his supervision treated sanitation workers at a municipal day ceremony, stating that the organization of the event was not his responsibility.

The publication of a photo in which municipal workers were seated on the ground while officials sat on chairs sparked widespread reaction on social media.

Mohammad Hassan Mohammadi, mayor of Brazjhan, responded to these protests by writing: “Given that I was merely a guest at today’s surprise ceremony, I apologize to everyone for the unintended incident that occurred…. I kiss the hands of these dear people and have never, never considered myself to hold a position higher than these hardworking individuals, nor do I now.”
