Military Service Purchase for Conscripts Abroad with 15,000 Euros

The spokesperson for Iran’s 1401 budget reconciliation commission announced a new resolution by this commission regarding the purchase of military service for conscripts residing outside the country. This resolution applies to those whose conscription service obligation has been pending for several years.

He added that this group of conscripts will be able to purchase their military service next year in accordance with Article 110 of the Constitution, so they do not face problems when traveling to Iran.

This resolution is not yet final and must be approved by the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Guardian Council.

Until now, the purchase of military service for conscripts residing outside the country was not permitted.

Only those who had resided abroad for at least three years were given the possibility of obtaining a conscript exit stamp, which allowed them to stay in the country annually for two periods of three months each.
