“No to Islamic Republic” Statement Released with Signatures of 640 Political Activists and Civil Society Advocates

Approximately 640 opponents of the Islamic Republic have released a statement announcing their determination to end the Islamic Republic’s rule. The statement has also been signed by numerous cultural, artistic, and sports figures.
A statement with the slogan “No to Islamic Republic” has been released with signatures from over 600 political activists and cultural and sports figures. The majority of signatories reside abroad, while some are based in Iran.
This statement is addressed to the people of Iran.
The brief statement reads: “This is the voice of the people who have firmly resolved to dismantle the Islamic Republic, this primary obstacle to achieving freedom, prosperity, democracy, progress, and human rights.”
They further add: “The expansion of the ‘No to Islamic Republic’ campaign, in connection with other political and civil movements, is a promising sign of greater alignment and convergence of the freedom-loving and justice-seeking struggles of the Iranian people for liberation from an anti-human government.”
Among the signatories of the statement in fundamental opposition to the Islamic Republic system are prominent figures, including: Reza Pahlavi, Shahryar Ahi, Faramarz Aslani, Shahin Najafi, Dariush Eghbali, Hassan Sattar, Ismail Nouri Ala, Touraj Atabaki, Aramesh Dostdar, Ismail Khoyi, Esfandiar Manfredzade, and Ali Mirfatros.
