Nowruz Ceremony in Sanandaj; Number of Detainees Increases to 12

On Monday, the 1st of Farvardin, 9 citizens were detained during a Nowruz ceremony in Sanandaj. With the inclusion of these citizens, the total number of detainees has increased to 12 people.
According to Hrana news agency, citing Kurdpa, on Monday, the 1st of Farvardin 1400, during a Nowruz ceremony at Sanandaj Children’s Park, 9 citizens were detained.
According to the report, the identities of these citizens have been listed as Abad Khorsidi, Keyvan Zandkarimi, Sohnd Barzanji, Arash Shakiba, Khaled Hosseini, Jamshid Farzi, Fardin Peyman-kar, Keyhan Kakeh-khani, and Keyvan Mahmoudi.
At the time of preparing this report, no information is available regarding the conditions and location of detention of these citizens.
Following the security forces’ raid on the Nowruz ceremony in Sanandaj, three of the ceremony organizers named Siahrab Jalali, Jamal Asadi, and Foad Enayati were also detained the previous day.
Additionally, Batool Azimi, a 75-year-old citizen, and Ariana Salimi, a 14-year-old teenager, who were detained during this ceremony the previous day, were released today, Tuesday, after depositing bail and signing a written commitment.
