Prince Reza Pahlavi’s Conversation with Boris Johnson Centered on Agreement on the Necessity of Ending the Islamic Republic

Prince Reza Pahlavi met with Boris Johnson in London, centered on their agreement on the necessity of ending the Islamic Republic.

The office of Prince Reza Pahlavi announced through a post on the social media platform X the meeting of Prince Pahlavi on Monday, June 30, with Boris Johnson, the former Prime Minister of Britain in London. The reason for Prince Reza Pahlavi’s travel to London and his meeting with Boris Johnson and other political leaders is to discuss support for the people of Iran’s struggle for freedom and secular democracy.

Prince Pahlavi wrote about his meeting with the former British Prime Minister: “Boris and I are in agreement. The brutal Islamic Republic must come to an end and the international community must support the people of Iran in their liberation from this oppression. I am very hopeful that we will soon welcome Boris Johnson in Tehran.”

Reza Pahlavi also stated in a message: “The Islamic Republic chants ‘Death to Britain.’ This regime is not only a threat to the people of Iran, but also a threat to the people of Britain. Regime change in the Islamic Republic will benefit both countries.”

Prince Pahlavi traveled to London today at the invitation of representatives of the British Parliament and spoke at 5 p.m. British time in a committee room in Parliament about Iran’s future and the necessity of regime change. The joint hosts of this meeting are “Luke Akehurst” from the Labour Party and “Afra Burnat” from the Conservative Party.

With Prince Pahlavi’s presence in London, many British Iranians gathered in front of the British Parliament and chanted slogans in support of the Pahlavi family.
