Quds Force Officially Reports Activity of Its Hackers in Attacks on Israeli Websites

While Western countries accuse the Islamic Republic of cyberattacks against other nations, and despite repeated denials of these allegations by Tehran, the Telegram channel of Iran’s Quds Force has openly reported on the activities of its affiliated hackers.

On Thursday, the Telegram channel called “Sepah Quds” posted that hackers affiliated with the Sepah had managed to hack the website of the Shalom Hartman Institute. The channel also published an image of the hacked page of this website.

The Shalom Hartman Institute is an educational and research institution of Israeli Jews that operates in that country and in North America.

Of course, hours later, the website resumed normal operations.

The United States added the Revolutionary Guards to the list of terrorist groups several months ago. The command of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards is led by Qasem Soleimani, who along with other Sepah commanders, is subject to U.S. sanctions.

Microsoft announced on Friday, October 12, that it identified “significant” activities of a cyber group in Iran aimed at targeting the U.S. election campaign for next year.

Previously, hackers from Iran also attacked a major American accounting firm.
